Logan is born with bone claws which protrude from his hands. He and Victor aka Sabertooth if you happens to follow X-Men. Both of them went thorough a lot of war during their times together until one fateful day. During the war in Vietnam, Victor kills a superior officer after being stopped from raping a girl but because of their unique regenerative abilities keep them alive.William Stryker a mutant hater, approaches the two mutants and offers them membership in his elite group of mutants. The brothers join the group and then Logan is disgusted by the murders committed by his teammates and abandons the group.
Logan started a new life in Canada but under the order of William Stryker, Victor managed to find him living with his girlfriend. Logan try to forget the past but Victor kills his girlfriend and that makes Logan want to join the team back under the command of William Stryker which Logan does not know that he's the mastermind of the killing. He's is told by William Stryker that they can make a weapon known as Weapon X in ordered to kill Victor.
